Police Seek 3 Teens Accused In LA Fatal Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Officers sought the public's help Saturday in providing information that would lead to the arrest of those accused in killing a 28-year-old man last night.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a radio call around 9:45 p.m. Friday reporting a shooting located in the 1500 block of East 92nd Street.

Once on scene, officers located a male victim seated inside his parked white Pontiac Grand Prix, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later identified as Joshua Johnson.

A preliminary investigation revealed three Black male suspects in their teens or early twenties drove alongside Johnson's vehicle in a dark sedan.

One of the suspects then shot multiple times at Johnson before fleeing from the scene, heading eastbound on 92nd Street.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by fire officials.

Officers explained the suspect's vehicle and weapon that was used in the crime have not been located.

The motive for the shooting is being investigated.
