Palisades Charter HS Deemed Safe After Alleged Social Media Threat
PACIFIC PALISADES (CBSLA.com) — A high school in Pacific Palisades was evacuated Tuesday after an alleged threat was made on social media.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded shortly before 10 a.m. to Palisades Charter High School, 15777 Bowdoin St., officials said.
A bomb squad was called to do a sweep of the campus after the unidentified threat was discovered.
The school was deemed safe and classes resumed shortly after 12 p.m.
Temescal Canyon was closed between PCH and Sunset Blvd. during the investigation, according to the LAPD.
The high school was also being used as a polling location. Voters were directed to LA Fire Department Station #69, 15045 Sunset Blvd.
