Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 4)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Get ready for a warm stretch over the next couple of days.

A surface high and an upper level high will work together to bring in a warm dry air mass along with an off-shore flow. Daytime highs will run well above average increasing the fire danger.

Look for the warm weather to peak between Wednesday and Thursday. Even with cooling on Friday, temperatures will remain above average through the extended period. Look for highs in the 80s and 90s.

The only caveat to the the warm weather — wind protected areas in the inland valleys will be quite cool in the pre-dawn hours. This is very typical of the winter "type" weather. Right now, there is no rain in sight.
