Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 28)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Mother nature will give you a trick or a treat depending on your feelings about rain and cooler weather.

We have some changes in our forecast. The next couple of days will be warm as high pressure builds into the region. Look for highs into the 80s for the inland areas, maybe even approaching 90 degrees in portions of the Inland Empire.

Wednesday will be the warmest day out of the next 5. By Thursday, expect to see more marine layer, then on Friday morning a front begins its trek through Southern California.

There is actually a chance at a light shower along the Central Coast early Friday. However, it looks like the front falls apart before it reaches Los Angeles.

The base of the trough will swing through the area late Friday and that could translate into a light shower. Totals on this system will range from a trace of rain to .10 inch.

While that is not anything to get excited about, it is our first "winter-type" system to push through the area. Look for cool weather to continue through the weekend.
