Woman Who Took Grandson From Parents In Westminster Found, Arrested

WESTMINSTER (CBSLA.com) — Police say a woman who took her grandson away from his estranged parents in Westminster without permission has been found and was briefly placed in custody.

Jessica Truong, 56, met with the parents of Isaiah Michael Alvarado at a Carl's Jr. Monday night and took the boy when the couple went outside to talk, Westminster police Corporal Phuong Phan said.

Phan said Truong was subsequently found at 5 p.m. Thursday at a business in Westminster.

Isaiah was reunited with his parents and Truong was arrested, Phan said. She has since posted bail and was released early Friday.
