Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 10)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Give yourself a pat on the back — you made it to Friday!

Expect a ridge of high pressure building into the west coast this weekend. This will translate into an off-shore flow. There shouldn't be much in the way of wind advisories, but it may be gusty from time to time.

There will be some warmer and drier weather over the weekend with temperatures peaking on Monday. Comparatively however, it will not nearly be as bad as the past several weekends as we've had about three Saturday & Sundays with temperatures well into the triple digit territory.

While it will be warmer and maybe at the doorstep of 100 — it won't be 107!

By Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, a trough digs in bringing in a cool down. In fact, the marine layer may be thick enough to squeeze out a little drizzle.
