Woman Found Seriously Burned On Side Of 73 Toll Road In OC

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday were seeking the help of witnesses who may have seen a woman or her vehicle that caught on fire along a toll road in Orange County.

The A 50-year-old woman and her burning car were found around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday on the northbound 73 Toll Road, between Glenwood and El Toro Road, the OC Fire Authority said.

The unidentified woman was transported to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana in serious condition with second and third degree burns.

Doctors said she suffered burns to 27 percent of her body.
