Autopsies Pending On 2 Bodies Found In Anaheim

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Autopsies were pending Thursday on two men, one found Wednesday in an Anaheim flood control drainpipe and the other found Tuesday night in a flood control basin about a mile away off Crescent Avenue.

The body of the man found Tuesday showed evidence of blunt force trauma, according to Orange County sheriff's detectives, who are assisting Anaheim police in the investigations.

Hours later, police arrested Kornell Randen King, 27, on suspicion of murder, according to the Orange County Register. Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock told the Register King lived in an apartment in the same area where the man's body was found and the two apparently got into a fight.

The other body, found just after noon Wednesday, was in a drainpipe along the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, according to the newspaper.
