Female Pedestrian Killed In South L.A. Accident
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A woman has died after being struck by an SUV in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
The fatal accident happened Wednesday night about 9:10 p.m. on Manchester Boulevard near the corner of San Pedro Street.
The unidentified pedestrian was reportedly struck by a sport utility vehicle. She died at the scene.
The driver of the car remained at the scene, police said.
Manchester Boulevard remained closed between San Pedro and Wall streets while authorities investigated.
