3 Wanted In Sherman Oaks Home Burglary

SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Wednesday to identify three people who burglarized a Sherman Oaks home in broad daylight.

The burglary happened Sept. 16 after 2 p.m. in the 4700 block of Burnet Avenue, Los Angeles police officials said. Surveillance video shows the two suspects entering the home, taking electronics and jewelry, and a female suspect waiting in a pick-up truck.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s, 5-foot-9, about 170 pounds with short hair, wearing dark pants, a white shirt, dark shoes and carrying a dark bag.

The second suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s, 5-foot-10, about 170 to 180 pounds, wearing a white shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.

The driver of the getaway truck is described as being about 5-foot-2, with long, dark hair, wearing a white blouse, dark skirt, high heel shoes and carrying a white purse. The vehicle is a newer model pick-up truck, possibly a Dodge Ram 4-door or similar vehicle.
