Police Seek Public's Help In Search For Suspects In 3 Hollywood-Area Robberies

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police are seeking the public's help in the search for two suspects they believe committed three robberies in the Hollywood area this month.

Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Robbery detectives are investigating a string of robberies they say occurred between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. October 3.

The robberies occurred within walking distance of one another, in the 1600 block of North Fuller Avenue, in the 1400 block of Vista Boulevard and in the 1200 block of North Mansfield Avenue, according to a police spokesperson.

Investigators believe the robberies are related and say in each instance the suspect or suspects approached the victims on foot in the lobby area of their residences and used force to obtain the victims' property.

One suspect is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes standing between 4 feet 11 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds. She is thought to be between 16 and 21 years old.

The second suspect is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing between 115 and 130 pounds. She is thought to be between 16 and 20 years old.
