Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 7)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — After a pretty warm Monday, temperatures are starting to pull back a touch Tuesday. Look for highs in the mid 80s in the basin, and inland temperatures will reach into the 90s.

Look for some high and mid-level clouds as tropical storm Simon moves inland. There is the chance at some showers and t-storms for the Southern and Eastern portions of the California.

There's also a heavy surf advisory through the day. The next high tide is around 9:30 a.m. and then again at 9:30 p.m.

The on-shore flow will strengthen through the middle of the week, so look for an increased marine layer and some cooler weather. By the weekend, high pressure builds back in and it looks like some high fire danger and warmer temperatures back towards the century mark.
