Woman Shot While Riding Her Bike In Pomona
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A woman was in critical condition Thursday after she was shot while riding her bike, police said.
The shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of W. Holt Avenue in Pomona.
When officers arrived on the scene, the found the woman "suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body," Lt. Hector Rodriguez said.
The woman was treated on scene and airlifted to an area hospital.
The motive for the shooting was unknown, but witnesses reported seeing a man flee the scene on a bike.
