3.2-Magnitude Quake Reported Near Avalon

AVALON (CBSLA.com) — A 3.2-magnitide quake was reported north of Avalon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The minor quake struck at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The temblor was centered about 12 miles south of Avalon and 39 miles southwest of Newport Beach.

No other details were immediately available.
