Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 30)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We have a couple of more days of mild weather before the heat really kicks in.

Temperatures will be hovering at or slightly below seasonal averages today and tomorrow.  However, by tomorrow evening the off-shore flow kicks in as a edge of high pressure builds into the region.

We are looking at clear, dry skies for several days.  This will increase the fire danger and bring triple digit heat to many inland valleys.

It isn't going to be a strong wind event, however, there will be some strong gusts from time to time.  The general off-shore flow combined with bone dry vegetation will create a very dangerous situation here in Southern California.

It appears the first few days of October really won't feel much like "fall" at all.
