Search Continues In Ojai Area For Missing 99-Year-Old Woman

OJAI (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Ventura County asked residents Monday to keep a sharp lookout for a missing 99-year-old woman.

Mary Adkins was last seen about 8:20 a.m. at her Oak View-area home, the Ventura County Sheriff's office said in a written statement.

Adkins is 5-foot-4 and weighs about 100 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes, and walks with a cane.

The statement said about 30 people were actively searching for Adkins. The search was expected to continue into the evening hours, deputies said.
