6 Passengers Aboard Delta Flight Assessed At LAX After Falling Ill

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a handful of people complaining of chills were assessed by first responders after landing at Los Angeles International Airport Saturday.

The passengers of a Delta flight had experienced some gastrointestinal issues, according to Darlene M. Foote with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

A total of six were met and assessed by Emergency Medical Services specialists, and were released, according to Foote.

The Delta flight landed at LAX Saturday morning with 280 passengers aboard.
