Police Seek Help Identifying Woman Accused Of Stealing Mail In Lancaster
LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help on Friday to identify and locate a woman that is wanted for mail theft and vandalism.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the alleged suspect has pried open multiple community mail boxes and stole pieces of mail during the late night or early morning hours.
Deputies did not clarify, however, what neighborhoods the thefts have occurred in.
Detectives described the suspect as a women that is heavy set with long hair.
She is believed to drive a silver or light colored SUV that is similar to a Dodge Durango, authorities said.
