Boy, 3, And Father Wounded In Highland Car-To-Car Shooting

HIGHLAND (CBSLA.com) — A 3-year-old child and his father were recovering Tuesday from wounds sustained in a car-to-car shooting.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 7600 block of Bonnie Street in Highland, police said.

Investigators say the victims were traveling in a Ford sedan when they were shot several times by an unknown gunman in another car.

The boy and his 28-year-old father were transported to a local hospital where they were treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
