Amber Alert Canceled After 10-Month-Old Infant Is Found Safe

Update as of 8 a.m.: An Amber Alert has been canceled after the 10-month-old infant was found safe. No further details have been provided.

HANFORD (CBSLA.com) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 10-month-old infant allegedly taken by his biological father and the father's girlfriend.

The Hanford Police Department issued the alert overnight for Rudy Zamora Castro. Castro is described as a Latino male with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in Hanford, Calif. in the Central Valley. He was wearing a diaper and blue jeans.

Castro's father, 25-year-old Rudy Zamora, and Zamora's girlfriend, 26-year-old Vilma Garcia are accused of taking the child.

Authorities described Zamora as a Latino male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5'6" and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts with a red stripe, black and red shoes and a black cap.

Garcia is a Latina female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'1" and weighs 150 pounds.

The trio is believed to be traveling in a 1996 maroon Chevrolet Tahoe with California license plate 7FAS143, according to authorities.
