LA Man Convicted Of Pimping, Selling 17-Year-Old Girl

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles man Friday was convicted of multiple felony counts in connection with the pimping and sale of a 17-year-old girl, the Orange County District Attorney's office said in a written statement.

The statement said Dominique Dashawn Tillman-Brown pleaded guilty to one felony count of pimping and three felony counts of selling a person for illicit use.

According to authorities, the 21-year-old man met the 17-year-old Jane Doe in 2013, and immediately instructed her to engage in commercial sex acts.

Authorities further stated that Tillman-Brown himself had sex with the underage girl. She was subsequently taken from Los Angeles to Orange County by Tillman-Brown "because he thought he could make more money," authorities said.

The statement said Tillman-Brown was arrested on Dec. 10, 2013, after an undercover officer with the Anaheim Police Department along with the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force made contact with Jane Dow.

Authorities had said that the FBI Innocence Lost Task Force had been looking for the teen.
