Powerball Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold In Rosemead

ROSEMEAD (CBSLA.com) — California Lottery officials say one lucky person is holding a winning Powerball ticket worth $1,098,624.

The ticket from Saturday night's draw only missed Powerball number 27, but matched the other five numbers. They included: 37, 6, 1, 53 and 16.

The winning ticket was sold at Rosemead Supermarket at 8815 East Valley Boulevard.

The store is expected to receive a bonus of $5,493, or one half of one percent of the winning amount just for selling the winning ticket, according to lottery officials.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
