'KNX On Your Corner' Docks In Marina Del Rey

LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070) – "KNX On Your Corner," KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO's award-winning series profiling Southern California's diverse cities is taking an in-depth look at Marina del Rey and its neighboring communities on Friday, September 12 from 5am – 7pm.

In addition to focusing on important issues and happenings in the Marina, as it's known to locals, KNX will also spotlight nearby Playa del Rey, Del Rey, Playa Vista and Westchester.  Civic leaders will be among the guests interviewed throughout the special day of programming designed to give listeners insight into the unique attributes of the area.

The public is also invited to a live broadcast as KNX brings its operations to Whiskey Red's (#WhiskeyReds) in Fisherman's Village at 13813 Fiji Way.  Free refreshments will be offered and the popular restaurant will be open during extended morning hours.

Dick Helton and Vicky Moore will anchor the news from 5:00 – 9:00am, Frank Mottek will host the KNX Business Hour from 1:00 – 2:00pm and Jim Thornton and Diane Thompson will anchor the broadcast from 2:00 – 7:00pm.  KNX 1070 is Southern California's only all-news radio station.
