Woman's Body Discovered In San Jacinto Field
SAN JACINTO (CBSLA.com) — A woman's body and her vehicle were discovered in a field in the Inland Empire on Monday evening.
The field is located at W. Esplanade Avenue and S. Juanita Street in San Jacinto, police said.
A man was reportedly looking through the open field for trash when he stumbled across the body around 6 p.m. The field is amidst an industrial center, where a number of business operate.
Detectives from the San Jacinto Police and the Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene, officials said.
The unidentified woman's cause of death was pending an autopsy, however, police were investigating her death as a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
