Man, 30, Murdered After Being Shot Multiple Times By 2 Gunman In South LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — Authorities said that a 30-year-old man was murdered in South Los Angeles Sunday morning in an attack in which two gunmen shot him multiple times.

The victim was found just after 2:45 a.m. at 54th Street and Western Avenue, said Sgt. Jeff Vach of the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Street Station.

The unidentified man was found in the rear of a location, suffering from multiple gunshots wounds to the head, torso and arms.

The victim was shot by two separate guns, said Los Angeles police officer Sally Madera of the Media Relations Section.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to a watch commander at the 77th Street station.

The suspects fled, he said.

Homicide detectives are trying to piece together details about what happened, Vach said.
