2 Men In Their 20s Struck While Standing At Hollywood Bus Bench

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say two people who were standing at a bus bench in Hollywood were injured in an early morning hit-and-run crash.

Police told CBSLA that victims were hit by an unknown suspect vehicle that jumped a curb. The vehicle then careened into the storefront of Joe's Pizza on Sunset Boulevard.

The accident happened about 4:10 a.m.

The victims, identified as two men in their early 20s, sustained minor injuries.

One was treated and released at the scene. The second victim was taken to an area hospital and was later released.

Authorities said the vehicle fled the scene.

No further information was available.
