Bomb Squad Clears Suspicious Item At LAX Cargo Facility
WESTCHESTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday deemed a possible suspicious item safe at cargo facility at Los Angeles International Airport.
LAX police responded to the facility on International Road around 4:35 a.m., Sgt. Belinda Nettles said.
The Los Angeles Police Department's Bomb Squad and the LAFD responded to the scene and a perimeter was established.
It was later determined the item was a camera inside a box, Nettles said.
International Road was briefly closed and traffic in the area diverted due to the investigation.
