LAPD Seeks Public's Help To Locate Missing Man, 33

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Police Department Friday asked for the public's help in locating a missing 33-year-old man.

Christian Alejandro Perez was last seen on Aug. 18, around 10 a.m., at his home in the 4700 block of South San Pedro Street in Los Angeles.

Perez, who was described as a Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes, has a mental capacity of an 8-year-old, according to the LAPD.

Perez is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 240 pounds. Perez's primary language is Spanish. Police said he has a speech impediment.

The LAPD says that Perez was heading to San Bernardino on the Metrolink and stopped at a McDonald's restaurant in Pomona.

Anyone with information as to Perez's whereabouts was asked to call Detective Carlton from the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800 or 1-877-LAPD-24-7 during non-business hours or on weekends.
