Glendale Police Sergeant Faces Charges Of Solicitation In Las Vegas
GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — A Glendale police sergeant faces charges of solicitation in Las Vegas after allegedly offering an undercover officer money for sex.
Vahak Mardikian, who previously battled the city of Glendale over claims of discrimination, was booked on Aug. 8 in Clark County jail after offering an undercover detective $250, plus $25 in gas money, for sex, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Mardikian reportedly met the detective, who was posing as a prostitute, at a bar and even asked whether she was a cop.
Glendale police say they can't comment on the case because it's a personnel matter.
