Powerball Ticket Worth $7 Million Sold In Manhattan Beach
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Lottery officials Sunday said one person in California is $7 million richer after matching five of six numbers in Saturday night's Powerball draw.
The winning ticket was purchased at Speedi Mart (975 Aviation Boulevard) and correctly matched the numbers: 3-12-31-34-51.
The ticket, worth $7,660,254, missed the Powerball number of 24.
Meanwhile, one person in Colorado won the entire jackpot of $90 million, lottery officials said.
The next Powerball draw, estimated at $40 million, is expected Wednesday.
Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
