Filmmaker Jeff Kurr Dishes On 'Shark Week's' FinFest

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Filmmaker and shark expert Jeff Kurr appeared on KCAL9 News on Saturday morning to discuss Shark Week's FinFest.

The big celebration is free and is being held at the Hermosa Beach pier all weekend. It will feature a live shark petting zoo and shark viewing tanks as well as a 60-foot mechanical shark, referred to as "Sharkzilla."

Kurr also discussed Shark Week 2014 which kicks off Sunday on the Discovery Channel.
