Parolee, 30, Accused Of Beating Mom, Assaulting Deputy In Temecula

TEMECULA (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said a 30-year-old parolee beat his mother and then assaulted a sheriff's deputy.

Officials said Aaron Paul Graves beat his mother inside their Temecula home. After deputies arrived, they said Graves was combative with one of them.

Two deputies were dispatched at 7:43 a.m. to the 31100 block of Tecumesh Court on a family disturbance call.

The suspect's mother told them her son assaulted her.

When deputies arrived, they said Graves ran into a bedroom.

Officials said Graves came out of the bedroom and assaulted one of the officers.

Graves was treated at a hospital. After being released, he was arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, being under the influence of methamphetamine, assault on a peace officer, violating parole and other crimes, Wade said.
