ROSSMOOR (CBSLA.com)  —  Two siblings have been reportedly shot in Rossmoor, authorities said.

The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of Tucker Lane, near Forster Avenue.

Neighbors told KCAL9's Stacey Butler they heard gunshots around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Butler reported that "details are very sketchy," but authorities told her they believed the victims were a 22-year-old woman and her 23-year-old brother.

Neighbors told her the suspect, believed to be the siblings' step-grandfather, shot the brother and sister when he arrived home from visiting his wife in the hospital and found the victim's were throwing a party without his permission.

The neighbors told Butler the siblings were recently told they had to move out. They said the brother was shot in a hand and the sister reportedly shot in the head.

"There is a large crime scene," reported Sky9's Stu Mundel.
