North Hollywood Metro Station Re-Opened After Report Of A Threat

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The North Hollywood Metro station was closed for more than an hour Tuesday as police investigated a report of a threat.

The incident was reported at 12:36 p.m. at the station at Lankershim and Chandler boulevards, officials said.

A person found a threatening note and handed it to the train operator, Metro authorities said. As a precaution, the station was cleared and dogs were called in to check the area.

The red line resumed normal service between the North Hollywood station and Universal/Studio City around 2 p.m.

No further details were known.
