Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (July 15)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — After Monday's muggy weather, expect a bit of a change Tuesday. The monsoonal flow has diminished a bunch and that will bring more sunshine through the day.

Temperatures will pop up a degree or two because of the lack of cloud cover. It will still feel humid, but not quite as much as Monday.

With the weakening monsoonal flow, the chance for thunderstorms will be present to the east in the high desert as well as the mountain communities. So don't be surprised if you see those big cumulus clouds from the San Gabriel range to the San Bernardino range.

Temperatures will remain relatively consistent through the rest of the week.  The only interesting development right now is a big ridge of high pressure that may develop at the beginning of next week.  This could turn into some of the warmest weather of the summer if it targets Southern California.
