Sean Hayes Joins Second Season Of CBS Comedy Show 'The Millers'

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — CBS announced Tuesday that actor Sean Hayes has joined the cast of their hit comedy show "The Millers".

According to the network, the Emmy award-winning actor will be a series regular, named Kip Withers, and will be introduced during the comedy's second season premiere, airing Oct. 30 this fall.

"After years of being a fan and hearing from others how wonderful he is to work with, I couldn't be more excited about Sean Hayes joining 'The Millers'," said Greg Garcia, Executive Producer and show creator.

Hayes will portray the new best friend of motherly figure Margo Martindale, also known as Carol Miller.

"The thought of he and Margo Martindale as BFF's makes me smile every time I think about it," Garcia said.

Hayes' character will also add tension to Will Arnett's character, Nathan Martindale, who plays the son of Margo on the show.

Hayes is best known for his eight seasons on the NBC comedy "Will & Grace", and most recently starring in "Sean Saves the World".

"We're only just getting started, and writing this season's stories has been a blast," Garcia added.
