Former Lakers Guard Jordan Farmar Officially Signs With Clippers In 2-Year Deal

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Former Lakers guard Jordan Farmar will move down the hall after officially signing Wednesday with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Farmar, who agreed on a two-year deal Sunday, will replace his former UCLA teammate Darren Collison as the backup point guard for Chris Paul.

Farmar averaged 10.1 points, 4.9 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 41 games he played for the purple and gold.

The former UCLA star was limited to half the games last season due to a torn left hamstring and a strained groin.

The free-agent guard has two NBA titles under his belt during his first stint with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010.

The team will make a formal presentation Thursday at its practice facility in Playa Vista.
