Spend Time With Family At The LA Zoo This Summer

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Melissa Grossenbacher and animal friends from the Los Angeles Zoo stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday afternoon to talk about Family Jam and other fun events happening this summer.

Family Jam, which will take place Saturday, will give families the rare chance to visit the zoo after hours from 6-9 p.m., and will feature live samba music, dancing, Brazilian food trucks and zookeeper visits.

The event is sponsored by the movie "Rio 2", bringing Brazilian activities like crafts, special prizes, costume characters and giveaways for kids to enjoy.
