Sexual Battery Suspect Sought In Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) —  Police in Sherman Oaks are looking for a sexual battery suspect they say has struck at least five times.

The suspect makes eye contact with his victim, passes by them, doubles back and then attacks from behind.

Authorities says he grabs his victims and pulls down their pants and underwear.

The suspect has targeted women in single family residential neighborhoods walking their dogs in the morning.

The attacks have all taken place between the hours of 5:30 and 6:30 a.m. and in a two-mile radius between Magnolia Boulevard and Kester Avenue in Sherman Oaks.

The suspect has been seen in a 1990's era charcoal gray Toyota Camry.

The victim's said the suspect is nondescript and is the kind of person who "blends in to the neighborhood."

He is described as white or Latino with black or brown hair and brown eyes. The suspect is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He has a thin build (between 145-160 pounds) and is believed to be between 20-25 years old.
