UPS Worker Arrested In Sexual Assaults On 2 Girls

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 15-year veteran of the United Parcel Service has been arrested after the LAPD says he sexually assaulted two underage girls in South L.A.

Anthony Leroy Tinzly, 36, has been charged with 12 felony counts, including kidnapping, rape, sodomy and robbery, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said.

The sexual assaults took place June 11 and June 18, police said.

A UPS spokesperson says Tinzly worked processing packages and never drove their delivery trucks.

Tinzly was booked June 19, according to the LAPD. His bail has been set at more than $2.6 million.

Investigators believe there may be more victims.
