K-EARTH 101's Gary Bryan To Host Radiothon, Online Auction Benefiting Bob Hope USO

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — K-EARTH Radio's Gary Bryan will host Thursday the first comedy radiothon benefiting the Bob Hope USO.

The two-day event will include the radiothon, online auction and comedy festival.

The live broadcast, hosted by K-EARTH 101 Morning Show, will take place at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday and at the Huntington Beach Independence Day Parade Friday. It will feature a special live comedy show with top comedians, including Jon Lovitz, Tom Arnold, Richard Lewis, Paul Rodriquez and more.

Julien's Auctions of Beverly Hills is hosting a world-wide online auction of entertainment and sports-related items, which will run through July 14.

Donations will also be accepted online here or by sending a text message to the number announced by Bryan at the event.

Event proceeds will benefit the Bob Hope USO, covering Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

The USO cares for wounded heroes, supports families of fallen soldiers and helps service members transition back into civilian life.
