Fiery Tractor Trailer Crash Forces Shutdown Of 101 Freeway In Both Directions

WESTLAKE VILLAGE (CBSLA.com)   —  Authorities arrested the driver of a big rig truck following a fiery accident on the Ventura (101) Freeway.

The accident happened about 9 p.m. Sunday on the southbound side of the freeway  at Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village.

The crash involved several vehicles, according to the CHP.

A SigAlert was issued as crews cleaned up the scene. It was later canceled around 3 a.m. Monday.

The unidentified truck driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

It was unknown if anyone was injured in the accident, said CHP Officer Monica Posada.
