TARZANA (CBSLA.com) — A 33-year-old man was fatally struck Wednesday morning while walking on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway.

The accident occurred around 1 a.m. near White Oak Avenue in Tarzana.

The pedestrian was struck by several vehicles and declared dead at the scene, the California Highway Patrol said.
