Woman Reported Missing In Pomona Returned Home Safe

POMONA (CBSLA.com)   — A Pomona woman with the mental capacity of an adolescent made it safely home Sunday after her family reported her missing this week, police reported.

Deanna Woods, 33, “returned home unharmed,” Pomona police Sgt. Iain Miller said.

Woods was last  seen at her house at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of E. La Verne Avenue, Det. Jerry Uribe said. She was supposed to return that evening, he said.

Family was especially concerned because Woods is diabetic and needs medication.

No details have been released about where Woods has been for the past four days.
