Hillary Clinton Signs Copies Of 'Hard Choices' At The Grove

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of people lined up for a scheduled Hillary Clinton book signing at The Grove.

Clinton signed copies of her new book, "Hard Choices", at Barnes & Nobles. The book is published by Simon and Schuster, a division of CBS Corp.

KNX 1070's Margaret Carrero reports fans from across the Southland drove to greet the former Secretary of State ahead of a potential 2016 Presidential bid.

"She's a transformative figure, potential to be the first female President of the United States and somebody that I've admired for quite some time," fan Brandon Hoglan said.

Another fan from Orange County said despite any official announcement, Clinton's supporters are hopeful she'll make a historic run for the White House.

"I feel like this has to happen," said one supporter. "Like, for women in America, this is just such a profound, like, moment."

The book details Clinton's account of the crises, choices and challenges she faced during her four years in President Barack Obama's cabinet. It was released on June 10.

Later Thursday evening, Clinton accepted an award from a lawyer's group in Century City.

The Clintons' ties to California's traditionally Democratic base run deep: husband and former President Bill Clinton visited the Golden State more than 70 times during his time in office.
