Religious Statue Vandalized At Artesia Church
ARTESIA (CBSLA.com) — A beloved shrine at an Artesia church was vandalized with graffiti over the weekend.
Parishioners of Holy Family Catholic Church found the 7-foot tall white marble statue of Mary, Joseph and Jesus covered in black graffiti Sunday.
"It's very heartbreaking for all of us. It's just a shame," Parishioner Mike Huerta said.
It was unclear if police had identified any suspects.
