Light Up The Grill For Father’s Day With Tips From Chef Sharone Hakman

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Light up the grill for Father’s Day!

Chef Sharone Hakman, creator of Hak’s BBQ, stopped by KCAL9 Thursday to give viewers some Father’s Day grilling tips.

Ground Beef Kabobs over charred Radicchio Recipe:

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2 lbs. Hearst Ranch grass-fed ground beef

2 tbsp. kosher salt

2 tbsp. black pepper

1 tbsp. garlic powder

1 tbsp. onion powder

¼ cup fresh chopped parsley

2 tbsp. smoked paprika

Method:

  • Combine all in bowl, mix and form into kabobs
  • Peel radicchio and grill on high heat, drizzle with oil and balsamic. Season with salt and pepper.

Father’s Day Scotch Cocktails:

Cocktail 1

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Johnnie Walker Double Black

3 ounces Ginger Beer

Method:

  • Combine in glass over ice and stir gently. Garnish with lime wedge.

Cocktail 2

Ingredients:

1 1/4 ounces Johnnie Walker Double Black

1/3 ounce Honey Liqueur

1 dash Aromatic Bitters

Method:

  • Stir, strain, and serve up in a glass with a lemon twist. Enjoy!
