Starbucks Opens Its First La Boulange Restaurant In Los Angeles With All-Day Menu

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Starbucks opened its first La Boulange restaurant Thursday in Los Angeles with a new, all-day dining concept.

The new location, 359 South La Brea Ave., will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

"Since opening our first bakery, Boulangerie, in San Francisco in 1999, our vision has always been to share our passion for incredible food in a great atmosphere with as many people as possible," Pascal Rigo, founder of La Boulange, said in a statement. "Having the opportunity to bring that passion to the vibrant Los Angeles food scene is incredible and a natural next step for the La Boulange brand."

The menu uses California-sourced ingredients wherever possible, offering a range of options from omelets to open-face sandwiches and build-your-own burgers made with grass-fed beef. All food is paired with a variety of beverages, including single-origin pour-over coffee, tap wine and beer, specialty cocktails and handcrafted milkshakes.

For every club sandwich purchased, La Boulange will donate 35 cents to the LA Regional Food Bank, and for every 35 cents, the LA Regional Food Bank distributes enough food for one meal.

Starbucks acquired the La Boulange bakery brand in 2012.
