Man, 19, Reported Missing From South LA Mental Health Facility

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 19-year-old man reportedly walked away from the South L.A. mental health facility where he lives and hasn't been seen since Tuesday morning.

Nathaniel Che left the facility, located in the 4200 block of South Avalon Boulevard, around 9:30 a.m., according to the L.A. Police Department.

Relatives say Che suffers from mental illness and they're very concerned for his wellbeing.

He's described as Che is Latino, 6 feet 1 inch tall, around 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black shirt, with a guitar imprinted on one side, and black pants.

Anyone with information regarding Che's whereabouts was urged to contact detectives at (213) 996-1800.
