Man, 25, Fatally Shot In Montebello

MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com) — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday in Montebello, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Montebello police officers responded to a shots fired call around 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Spruce and Sycamore streets.

The victim was discovered with a gunshot wound inside his vehicle, which had crashed into a telephone pole.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots before the victim collided with the pole, authorities said.
